Distinguished Scientists, Public and Private Sector Experts and Representatives,
The Chemists’ Association has been organizing congresses for many years that combine past experience and aim to shape the future; it strives to create a healthy bridge between relevant sectors, scientists, and public authorities, and to set the agenda for the production of value-added products for our country. In doing so, our main goal has been to establish communication between our members and the chemistry and related main branches needed in almost every sector related to production, and to create opportunities for discussion and forming problem-centered project teams rather than professional centers by exploring multidisciplinary working methods. Achieving these goals and contributing to ongoing efforts for new breakthroughs that will create added value for our country are among our fundamental goals as the Chemists Association. One of the focal points of these new breakthroughs is the Food Industry. Although our country has immense potential for food production from farm to table, full and efficient use of this potential requires all-out cooperation.
The congress aims to bring together on common ground ministries operating in the field of food chemistry and technology (Agriculture and Forestry, Health, Industry and Technology), relevant departments of universities (Chemistry, Biology, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, Health Sciences, Nutrition and Dietetics, Pharmacy), private sector representatives, public and private authorities working in the field of quality control and standardization, and halal food. This framework aims to bring together stakeholders who can contribute in multidisciplinary areas from chemistry to nutrition, to create a project collaboration platform among participants, to develop a culture of joint project development, and to inform participants about existing and/or new regulations by supervisory authorities.
For this purpose, with the support of Yıldız Technical University, Üsküdar University and the Chemists Association, many valuable participants from the above-mentioned stakeholders took part in the Congress Organization and Scientific Committees. In this context, the 5th International Food Chemistry Congress is a scientific organization that will be held in Antalya/Kemer Juju Premier Palace between 9-12 April 2026, with the cooperation of the Chemists Association, Üsküdar University and Yıldız Technical University. This year, we are very excited to discuss and exchange ideas with experts, researchers, the public and industry professionals from all over the world at our Congress on the latest developments in our focus and motto, “Food Systems from Chemistry to Nutrition”.
The congress includes invited talks, short oral presentations, poster presentations, courses and workshops. Short oral presentations will also be exhibited as posters, providing the opportunity for mutual sharing with more participants. Speakers and representatives from leading universities around the world, food chemistry and nutrition researchers, food chemistry and nutrition associations, food chemistry scientists and researchers, health professionals, students, business representatives and young researchers will be invited to create a very broad platform and present the latest developments in the field and their relationship with nutrition. Posters deemed successful by the referee committee consisting of scientists working in industry and academia will be awarded.
Speakers and representatives from leading universities around the world, food chemistry and nutrition researchers, food chemistry and nutrition associations, food chemistry scientists and researchers, health professionals, students, business representatives and young researchers will be invited to create a very broad platform and present the latest developments in the field and their relationship with nutrition.
